Combat Arms is way ahead of the curb when it comes to Free MMOFPS. The live action is enticing, and the different game modes changes it up frequently.
Upon entering the lobby you will have to choose a game mode. There are a total of six, it just depends on what kind of gamer you are.
After you choose your limited character options you can get started right away. Your beginning weapon is weak, and has horrible recoil, but not to worry. Once you master your weapon and rack up a few kills, you will be able to afford a new weapon and perhaps some upgrades.
A major drawback to Combat Arms is the real cash factor. You can buy new guns and upgrades with in game money, but it is only for a week long period. You can however, if you have the financial means, go to the “black market,” as its called and purchase new guns.
The controls don’t take long to learn, but they are difficult to master. You wont find many greater free to play MMOFPS out there. This one is well made.
