LaTale is a 2D side-scrolling fantasy MMORPG game that is very similar to MapleStory. Like MapleStory, the game offers a huge selection of classes, items, skill trees and customized content.

Latale, like most 2D MMO’s, lacks a large amount of classes to play as. There are however, skill trees to help define your character down the road. A half translated tutorial will be the first part of your adventure, but can be skipped if you choose. NPC’s will also assist you in the starting zone if needed.
Latale uses a feature rarely found in RPGS, unique quest rewards. Of course there are standard quest rewards as well, but unlocking facial expressions is one of the major unique unlocks. A pulling system has also been added to Latale, another rare find for free MMORPG’s.
This game has it’s fair share of drawbacks. The controls on a whole seem to be a bit bumpy and awkward, this is never a good feeling for gamers. Also, the looting system is far too complicated if you are playing at a fast pace. Even with it’s ugly sides, Latale is a good pick.
