MechQuest (MQ)

Play begins by creating a character and a giant robot called a Mech. Customization is limited at first but players are allowed to upgrade as play goes along, giving their Mech a variety of parts and weapons. The game focuses on aquiring experience through mini-game competitions. The mini-games mostly involve shooting enemies, avoiding obstacles and rescuing friends.

Players who are serious about advancing will have to pay to become a Star Captain, giving them access to more armor, weapons, and quests. Math Quest is one of the better sci-fi themed games with its customization options comparable to those found in more established MMOs.

The Good: The game offers hundreds of mini-games and has advanced customization options.

The Bad: The combat and mini-games can be repetitive. There is limited customization at the beginning of the game.
